me and zoe had a very in depth conversation earlier about the presentations, and the seemingly 'long' way we go about things in them. What we are finding difficult (let me know if anyone else is) is the long and often tiring discussion which doesnt end up becoming succint. I see the struggle with us as a group wanting to lead the discussion more, but relying on mary anne and david green too. I feel a slight frustration coming from the MA and DG partly due to this lack of focus of what we want from the discussions. So.. me and zoe thought we may suggest that we split into groups of about 5 per group and discuss for say.. 15 minutes the formal theoretical etc, until we have a concise presentation from the seperate groups of particular questions they see as most relevant. Then it would make it easier for us to narrow down those avenues we want to travel (so to speak), which is as we have been doing but it has been taking alot of time to get there. Then the person presenting whom has been asked by the group can answer some queries etc. there seems to be too much asking and no answering at the moment, and i feel we should push this not to trip people up just to get the conversation going back and forth.
let me know what y'all think Gemma
